SERVICE & REFUND PRINCIPLES

Service, Cancellation & Refund Principles

We do not publish a one-size-fits-all price. Once the student and actual service scope are known, included and excluded items and cancellation terms are confirmed in writing.

1. Personalized proposal

Fees vary by program, school, duration, student circumstances, accommodation and local-support scope. The proposal separates school or third-party costs, JStay service fees and out-of-pocket expenses.

2. Before payment

The amount, payment schedule, inclusions, exclusions, service start date and change, cancellation and refund terms are confirmed in an agreement or written proposal. The final signed agreement and official provider terms take priority over general website information.

3. School, camp and third-party costs

Application fees, tuition, accommodation, insurance, notarization, transportation and activity costs are governed by the relevant provider's rules. Amounts already paid, non-refundable charges and actual transfer or administration costs may be deducted.

4. JStay service fees

For cancellation before service begins, the refundable amount defined in the agreement may reflect consultation, selection, application preparation and actual costs already incurred. After service begins, settlement considers completed work, the stage reached and any committed local-care period. Each agreement states its specific timing and calculation.

5. Visas and entry

Visa refusal or inability to enter Canada does not automatically mean every payment is fully refundable. Settlement follows school and provider rules, work already performed by JStay and the signed agreement. Regulated immigration advice or representation is referred to an authorized professional.

6. Early withdrawal or student-related termination

Schedule changes, voluntary withdrawal, school discipline or expulsion, breach of residence rules or early move-out remain subject to provider rules and the agreement. Damage, unpaid balances or third-party costs may be reflected in the settlement.

7. Change by JStay or a provider

If an essential agreed service cannot be provided, we first discuss a suitable alternative and settle any undelivered scope under the agreement and provider rules. Where safety requires an urgent change, the guardian is told the reason and next steps.

8. Questions and disputes

Send a change or cancellation request by email as soon as possible so a record remains. We review the proposal, receipts, provider rules and progress records, with the signed agreement and applicable law governing the final outcome.

These are public principles common to JStay programs. Exact amounts, refund calculations and deadlines are confirmed in the individual agreement before payment.
